North Georgia LODGING
What is so great about North Georgia lodging?
One Word: Options!
As you can imagine, there are plenty of options for your lodging. There are hotels, motels, bed and breakfast, cabins, resorts, campgrounds, and RV locations.
If your stay will be 3-nights or more and you are not camping, consider lodging in a cabin. I find the extra storage, living area, privacy, and kitchen facilities all add up to value.
For shorter stays a hotel or motel may be the best because cabins usually have a cleaning fee.
My wife, Suzanne, usually goes onto Vacation Rental By Owner to find a cabin in the vicinity and amenities that we desire, depending on where we want to go and who is visiting us. Expect to pay a cleaning fee of $90-125 and about 12% taxes.
