What is so fun about north Georgia golf courses?

One Word: FORE!

There is no State of Georgia owned golf courses located in north Georgia according to Georgia Tourism; but, there are some outstanding golf courses for you to enjoy while vacationing in the north Georgia mountains.

Whitepath Golf Club in Ellijay, Georgia is a nice private golf course bound by mountains. Its course is narrow and spread out as you are golfing in the mountains.

Butternut Creek Golf Course is offered by the Union County Recreation Department and is a Blairsville municipal course. This 18-hole course comes with fully stocked pro-shop, daily or annual membership, picnic facility and open year round. You can reach them at 706-439-6076.
